VIBRATIONAL TInRAR

NHAZCA S.r.l. performs vibration surveys and static tests of structures (historical buildings, columns, monuments, dams, bridges, viaducts etc.) by Terrestrial Radar Interferometry. The radar sensor (IBIS-S by IDS S.p.A.) is installed on a tripod and powered by 12V batteries. The system is easy to transport, quick to install and suitable for short time interventions. The survey is completely remote, i.e the installation of targets on the structure is not required. The high sampling frequency (up to 200 Hz) allows the resonance frequencies and the vibration modes of the monitored object to be detected. Furthermore, accurate (less than 0,1 mm) static displacement monitoring of load tests can be performed. Moreover, by such a technique a large number of points of the structure can be contextually monitored.
