Bridge Testing by Remote Sensing Technologies

In the last years NHAZCA developed several technical solutions for the analysis of the static and dynamic behaviour of structures and infrastructures by using remote sensing technologies. As recent example is the test of the new footbridge crossing the Arno River in the small village of Poppi (Tuscany). Optical Leveling, Terrestrial Real Aperture Radar and Digital Image Correlation were used for the 3D analysis of the bridge deformational behavior during loading tests.
