A multidisciplinary study for the characterization of a subsidence process published on Remote Sensing of Environment

NHAZCA, in collaboration with other scientific partners, has recently published, on the Remote Sensing of Environment international Journal, the paper titled “Understanding the subsidence process of a quaternary plain by combining geological and hydrogeological modeling with satellite InSAR data: The Acque Albule Plain case study”. In the frame of the multidisciplinary study, advanced Satellite InSAR data have been integrated with the geological and hydrogeological model of an area near Rome, affected by strong subsidence phenomena. The achieved results allowed for the detailed characterization of such processes, that caused major damages to buildings and infrastructures.
