Although the pandemic has imposed slowdowns on activities, NHAZCA is not stopping. After having participated in TAILINGS 2021 (01-03 September 2021) – attended by more than 400 participants including speakers and auditors – with a speech in the Section dedicated to Technologies and Instrumentation for Monitoring and Surveillance, NHAZCA will participate in the next weeks to further conferences and seminars at national and international level. These events, which will take place mainly in virtual mode, will see the participation of organizations, companies and experts in the geological and infrastructure monitoring sector.

In these days, NHAZCA will take part in the TKZ 2021: XIX TECHNICAL DAM CONTROL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE, with a talk dedicated to the use of InSAR and PhotoMonitoringTM technologies for soil deformation monitoring within the section entitled “Surveying, operation, and maintenance of hydraulic structures”.

In addition, NHAZCA will take part in September to the 10th AIT International Conference (13-15) “Planet Care from Space” and to the 7th AIGA 2021 Congress (22-25 September) and to the AIGA 2021 Conference. Further important events in which NHAZCA will participate in the next months are the ESA Phi Week (13-15 October) and the Earth Technology Expo (13-16 October).

NHAZCA will present within the panel “Earth Observation System of Systems and Application Scenarios” of the ESA Phi Week a talk titled “Infrastructure Asset Management using multifrequency and multiresolution EO data” (see program here). At the same time, NHAZCA will attend the first edition of the Earth Technology Expo that will take place in Florence, Italy. The focus of the event is on “Technologies for climate, environment, sea, water, cities, work, production, management and control of natural and man-made hazards”.
