Design of a monitoring system for a monumental asset

Issue

Design of an integrated monitoring system for the conservation of the Flavian Amphitheatre (Colosseum) in Rome, the most visited monument in the world.

Solution

Design of the environmental and structural monitoring (static and dynamic) of the cultural heritage site. Specifically, the project foresees, in close collaboration with the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum, the analysis of the overall technical-economic feasibility of the integrated monitoring system to be realized as well as the definition of the final design.
