NHAZCA Successfully Completes Challenging Monitoring Project in Italy

Throughout the summer, NHAZCA has played a pivotal role in one of Italy’s most demanding monitoring projects.

On November 30, 2022, a section of the “S.S. 18 Tirrenia Inferiorewas devastated by a massive landslide near Castrocucco di Maratea (Potenza, Italy). However, thanks to the implementation of a cutting-edge geotechnical monitoring system, the road has been reconstructed and reopened to traffic on July 14, 2023.

NHAZCA collaborated with ANAS SpA to provide an early warning monitoring service, which allowed for the road to be opened for 16/24 hours, successfully applying a risk mitigation approach.

Our expertise and services ensure critical sites and infrastructures remain accessible through real-time monitoring, enabling an early warning approach to mitigate potential risks.

We are proud to have been part of this project.
